December 21, Longest Night Service (formerly Blue Christmas), 6:30 PM
For the past two years, we have gathered for a “Blue Christmas” service of music, scripture, and prayer. This service acknowledges the grief and loss within our lives and the hope that we find in the light of Christ. The service will occur on the “longest night” of the year. Each day following will bring more light into our days.
December 24, Christmas Eve Holy Communion at 11 AM
Christmas Eve falls on a Sunday this year. For our 11 AM service, we will gather at the Lord’s Table in celebration of Christ’s Coming. The service will be filled with Christmas carols and scripture, as well.
December 24, Christmas Eve Lovefeast and Candlelight Services, 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM
There are two opportunities to participate in one of the most beautiful worship services of the year. We begin this service with a lovefeast celebrating Jesus Christ’s Incarnation and our unity in Christ. The service concludes in candlelight with the singing of “Morning Star” and “Christ the Lord.”
